Canela Media announced its upcoming ‘Verano Canela’ lineup for 2024, which includes content from the Cine de Oro collection with exclusive Mexican movie classics on Canela.TV, refreshing music and videos in ‘Summer Hits’ from Canela Music, and all the excitement of soccer in ‘Verano de Gloria’ on Canela Deportes and amplified coverage through our exclusive partnerships with MARCA and FutbolSites.

Canela.TV extends Canela News programming to 60 minutes with prominent presenter María Alejandra Requena. The program will offer breaking news from around the world, with deeper coverage and a series of new segments designed to inform and serve the Hispanic community in the US and Latin America during this decisive election year, where the voice and the vote of the Latino community will be fundamental.

The Hispanic TV Summit will give out the Executive Leadership Award in Hispanic Television to Isabel Rafferty Zavala, founder and CEO of Canela Media.

Canela.TV is making more than 100 films from the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema available exclusively on its platform. On Thursday (June 13), the films will start streaming for free under the platform’s new “Cine de Oro” collection with more being released throughout the year after being restored to high definition.

La lista inicial de títulos que estarán disponibles incluye “Me he de comer esa tuna” (1945), protagonizada por Jorge Negrete, “La devoradora” (1946), con María Félix, “Escuela de Vagabundos” (1955) con Pedro Infante y “Lo que le pasó a Sansón” (1955), protagonizada por el comediante Tin Tan.
